Minister of Trade and Industry, Endrit Shala, said that significant work has been conducted in order to improve the business climate in Kosovo at the opening of the Francophone Forum that is organized by Francophone Business Club in Prishtina.
Minister Shala stated that the Francophone countries are among the main political and economic partners in Kosovo.
“Kosovo has great challenges ahead of itself as a new country, but we have made important steps in addressing them. In terms of its competences, MTI has conducted significant work in improving the business climate, as shown by the latest World Bank report. Even this year we expect to be ranked higher in terms of improving the business climate. Francophone countries are among the main political and economic partners of our country and I am happy to share with you today that we have provided space to increase our economic cooperation by providing conditions for these investors to consider Kosovo as an ideal investment location”, said Minister Shala.
The Minister said that in the light of the Law on Strategic Investments there are interested Francophone businesses who expressed their interest to invest in Kosovo.
