Minister of Trade and Industry, Endrit Shala, has rendered another order in the course of the implementing policies that empower the Republic of Kosovo.
Following the citizens' reports and the inspections and confirmation of the situation by the Market Inspectorate, on having encountered certain products imported in Kosovo with the inscription “Kosovë/o dhe Metohi”, “Kosovë/o UNMIK” or “Kosovo/a Rezuluta 1244”, the Minister Shala issued an order banning the sale of these products through the points of sale as well as banning their entry in Kosovo.
After confirming this situation, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Endrit Shala, issued an order to the Market Inspectorate requesting from them to urge the economic operators to immediately remove from the market the products labelled “Kosovë/o dhe Metohi”, “Kosovë/o UNMIK” or “Kosovo/a Rezuluta 1244”, or any other labelling in contradiction to the official name of the Republic of Kosovo.
Similarly, Minister Shala has also requested from Kosovo Customs to ban the entry into Kosovo of products containing such labels.
