Minister of Trade and Industry, Endrit Shala, in the meeting has hosted the President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce, Asif Iqbal, in which case the topic of discussion was the deepening of cooperation between two countries in the field of economy and trade exchanges.
Minister Shala has informed the Indian delegation of the Chamber of Commerce on the opportunities that Kosovo offers to foreign investors and the Law on Strategic Investment, which is already being applied and has shown extraordinary effects.
Furthermore, at the meeting, was discussed about many opportunities that Kosovo offers for investments in the field of energy, technology, agriculture, tourism etc.
Minister Shala said that Kosovo offers the most favourable conditions in the region for investments, as a result of the Law on Strategic Investments, as well as recent amendments made in this law, which creates even greater facilities for investors.
"Kosovo's potential is extraordinary, we have a very creative and innovative youth. We are building economic zones in the main countries of Kosovo to offer to the foreign investors a location with a very modest lease, "said Minister Shala.
The President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce, Asif Iqbal, stated that Indian businesses are interested to extend in the Balkan region, as well as in Kosovo, for investing in the field of technology.
