Minister of Trade and Industry, Endrit Shala, hosted in a meeting the representatives of the businessmen organization “RUMELİSİAD” from the city of Bursa in Turkey.
Minister Shala stated that he remains committed to create good conditions for foreign investors coming to Kosovo to invest their capital.
“I, as a Minister, and the Government of Kosovo are committed in providing investors with all facilities in order to enable them, as much as possible, to do business in Kosovo. I am grateful to you and we are happy that businesses from Bursa are interested to invest in Kosovo”, stated Minister Shala.
Minister informed that the ministry he leads has sponsored the Law on Strategic Investments, whereby providing foreign investors with extraordinary facilities.
“Kosovo has the Law on Strategic Investments in place, and we are responsible to implement it. This law is an extraordinary opportunity for businesses to invest in Kosovo as it provides facilities incomparable to regional countries. I am ready to stand behind you in every step you take to invest in Kosovo. I guarantee all facilities and opportunities for your investment to be safe and successful,” stated Minister Shala.
Omer Kumova, President of the Businessmen Association “RUMELİSİAD” from Bursa, stated that they are interested to invest in Kosovo and liaison businesses in Turkey with businesses in Kosovo.
Kumova stated that there are some fields in which they are interested to invest in Kosovo.
“So far, we have made some investments in Balkan and we are considering investing again and we have some concrete projects”, stated Kumova.
Members of the Organization “RUMELİSİAD” are entrepreneurs in Bursa of Turkey and a part of them originate from Balkan countries. The delegation is composed of 11 businessmen, who are looking for the opportunity to invest in Kosovo in different fields.
