Minister of Trade and Industry, Endrit Shala, in the Manufacturing Club Convention emphasized the need for consumption of domestic products by citizens.
Shala stated that patriot is the one who opens new jobs and consumes domestic products, thus impacting the strengthening of economy.
“I greet you and congratulate you on this organization, which is the first of its kind. Thanks to the cooperation with Kosovo Manufacturing Club, we managed to be here today to inform you of challenges faced by the domestic manufacturer. Honoured businesses; yesterday was 28th of November, a date marked all over Albanian territories. I congratulate all Albanians and hope that this date will serve as a reason for raising awareness for loving ours. It is pleasure to see that citizen’s support for domestic products has taken tremendous proportions. In my opinion, a patriot is the one who opens new jobs, consumes domestic products and impacts the strengthening of Kosovo’s economy, thus youth will not leave the country”, stated Minister Shala.
Shala stated that nowadays domestic producers are in better position than in the past, adding that this fact rejoices him as it impacts the trade balance of Kosovo.
“I want to dwell on some points which I consider relevant to be highlighted. It is important that nowadays domestic manufacturers are in a more favourable position compared to the previous years and this rejoices me greatly, as the strengthening of the manufacturer results in the strengthening of Kosovo and its economy. Also, the strengthening of domestic manufacturers impacts the employment growth and improvement in trade balance, which we are working to change”, stated Minister Shala.
Shala provided support to domestic manufacturers, promising them that he will be by their side in order for Kosovo to be model of development, but called for increase of products quality.
“Ministry of Trade and Industry remains committed to support domestic manufacturers and work together in order for Kosovo to be a model of development. We are working hard for an economy based on the promotion of manufacturing investments and a new vision on how Kosovo can utilize its potentials. Our consumer and our trade partners should not give rise to any dilemmas as to the quality of our products. Therefore, I call on you to increase quality, which is very important nowadays, and call on citizens to consume domestic products”, stated Shala.
Minister considers that the consumption of domestic products has an impact on the change of statistics, and thus the improvement of economy.
“The consumption of our products enables us to see what really happened with the economy of Kosovo, which will surely have a direct impact on the improvement of statistics. I am here today to give the message that I will listen to your requests and be ready to respond to your concerns, wherever necessary. We have to create the conditions and you have to increase the quality and the combination of these guarantees success 100 percent”, concluded Shala.
