Minister of Trade and Industry, Endrit Shala, held a meeting with the Acting Ambassador of the Republic of North Macedonia in Kosovo, Rexhep Saliu, with whom he discussed about the relations between the two countries and trade exchanges.
Minister Shala informed the ambassador about business complaints from both sides and also the barriers that Kosovo businesses face when exporting to North Macedonia.
"I got the commitment of the ambassador to eliminate these non-tariff barriers with North Macedonia as soon as possible. I am focused on helping the local business address their problems and the aim of the Ministry of Trade and Industry is to increase the presence of Kosovar products in the region and beyond, directly affecting the export growth of our products "Said Minister Shala.
While, acting Ambassador Saliu expressed his willingness to discuss in finding ways to eliminate barriers between Kosovo and North Macedonia.
