The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, attended the official opening of the Grape Harvest Festival – Hardh Fest 2023, in Rahovec.
In her opening remarks, Minister Hajdari thanked the winegrowers and farmers in particular for their unparalleled work, for the special production of brandy and wine, which she said we are proud of inside and outside the country.
Minister Hajdari described the Hardh Fest festival as a celebration that has now become a clear example of success and a union and promotion of the culture, heritage and potential of the Republic of Kosovo.
Further, Minister Hajdari emphasized the importance of the festival in terms of tourism due to the many visitors it brings, mentioning also the support of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo for the development of tourism, as well as for local manufacturing and exporting businesses, through various instruments and schemes for technology advancement, product certification for export, digitization and training, respectively through the implementation of the Industrial Policy drawn up by the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, which aims for Kosovo's industry to be globally integrated by 2030.
Minister Hajdari informed winemakers that MINT, through the Industrial Property Agency, is working on the process of approving the geographical indicator of wine products in the Rahovec region, and wished that the Industrial Park in Opterushë, an economic zone, would be inaugurated next year, an economic zone that was certified and financed by the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade with 1.5 million euros, for more space and services for businesses to increase production and high added value products in the local and international market.
