The Division for Industrial Policy under the Department of Industry of the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) organized a table on “Evaluation of the Wood Sector Cluster Initiative”.
Representatives of wood sector manufacturing businesses, the University of Applied Sciences in Ferizaj, MIRECK Cluster and GIZ attended the meeting.
The meeting focused on providing information on the Value Chain Analysis of the wooden furniture and wooden construction material subsectors, information on the Cluster Guidance and the steps for the establishment and functioning of the Metal Industry and Renewable Energy Cluster of Kosovo (MIRECK) as the first cluster established in Kosovo.
The participants in the meeting reached a common conclusion to further strengthen the dialogue and increase the cooperation between private, public and academic sectors for the establishment of the wood sector cluster.
