In honour of June 1 – International Children’s Day, the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, together with colleagues from the cabinet and civil servants in the premises of MINT welcome pupils of the 5th grade of the Primary School “Pavarësia” and students of the 6th grade of the Primary School “Dardania”.
In this celebration of the Children's Rights Day, Minister Hajdari talked to pupils about the importance of promoting children's rights, prioritizing the education of children, improving their well-being and development through various institutional governmental policies.
Children were excited and curious and the Minister told them that they are the greatest asset of the Republic of Kosovo, and that they will work diligently for the children to receive the care, protection, guidance and encouragement they need to grow and prosper.
In this friendly environment, Minister Hajdari answered the various questions made by pupils and encouraged them to be educated about the bright future and to follow their dreams.
In the end, pupils visited and learned closely about the functioning of various laboratories that serve to measure the scientific parameters of the Kosovo Metrology Agency (KMA) within the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade.
Children's rights to life, health, education and self-expression, among others, are enshrined in the Convention on the Rights of the Child that guarantee freedom, non-discrimination and equality to all children.
