Under the reform process of the government of the Republic of Kosovo on improving doing business environment, the minister of Trade and Industry Hykmete Bajrami; the minister of Finance Avdullah Hoti;
the Deputy minister of Finance Agim Krasniqi; the Acting Secretary of the Ministry of Trade and Industry Agron Maxhuni; the Kosovo Tax Administration Director Sakip Imeri; and the Kosovo’s Business Registration Agency Director (ARBK) Gazmend Mejzini, are meet today to discussed their joint project on the business registration number unification, which mean that the business registration number and the fiscal number are the same and will serve as business identification number.
On this occasion was made known that by unification of various business number into one single number, which is planned to be applied into all business activities procedures and which will make much easier the business activities to companies.
Both, minister Hoti and minister Bajrami agreed that representatives of this two institutions, KTA and ARBK dose the necessary preparations in this regard and by February to bring the final decision on unification of business number, and this wat give time to the businesses until the end of 2017 obtain the business unified number.
Also at the meeting they discussed that by unification of business number will effect on fighting the non-formal economy of Kosovo, and will be in benefit to foreign businesses which wish to invest in our country.
