In the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) was held the signing ceremony of co-financing agreements for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, led by women entrepreneurs.
The Minister of Trade and Industry, Vesel Krasniqi, emphasized on this occasion that women entrepreneurs have continuously proved that they are able to manage not only their families, but also business, as well as to administer with public institutions.
Krasniqi stressed that granting subsidies in this part of the end of the year coincides with the campaign supported by public institutions and civil society "16 days of activation".
"Also, this campaign aims to raise awareness on gender and equality rights, raising information at all levels, creating partnerships between institutions, civil society organizations, raising public awareness of the consequences of violence, encouraging to inform about any injustice, as well as the prevention and eradication of this phenomenon in our society ", emphasized Minister Krasniqi.
He stressed that even in MTI the issue of gender equality, year after year has advanced, influencing the increase of employment or finding space for women.
According to him, within these activities and in support of women entrepreneurs, MTI respectively KIESA agency this year have supported 32 businesses, led by women entrepreneurs.
Minister Krasniqi also emphasized that the budget of 2021 envisages the increase of the budget in terms of subsidies for women entrepreneurs, while they have requested even greater support from the World Bank for this purpose.
At the end of the ceremony, the director of the Department for Private Sector Support, Arbër Muhaxheri signed agreements with several businesses, represented by women entrepreneurs.
