The Ministry of Trade and Industry through the Kosovo Investment and Enterprise Support Agency (KIESA), started with the Cooperative Development Program (CDP).
This program is implemented with the support of the Increase of Competitiveness and Export Promotion (ICEP), funded by the EU and aims to strengthen the competitiveness and export capacity of Kosovo's small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in four industry sectors: wood processing, metal processing, plastics and rubber processing, textile goods, clothing and leather goods.
At the first informative session held in Peja, businesses in this region were informed by KIESA and ICEP representatives about the application procedures and opportunities offered by this program.
The CDP program provides practical advice, training in quality management, marketing, export promotion, production efficiency, logistics and control. Advisory assistance will be adjusted to the development needs of the respective enterprises and it is provided by international industry experts, together with local consultants.
The Cooperative Development Program (CPD) will have informative sessions in the municipalities of Kosovo where the representatives of the companies will have the opportunity to be informed in more details about this program.
