The Minister of Trade and Industry, Vesel Kraniqi, has requested from the Market Inspectorate, in addition to implementing the Government decisions for anti-Covid measures, to fight the informal economy and protect the consumer.
Within this and the elimination of unfair trade practices, the Market Inspectorate of the Ministry of Trade and Industry has banned the sale of the product called "Peçko Pivo".
After receiving the information, the Inspectorate went to the field where it encountered a product with the name "Peçko Pivo". The business entity did not had a supply invoice, respectively, the origin of the product in question.
In accordance with applicable laws, the Market Inspectorate has imposed material fine and confiscated the quantity of product on the market.
Minister Krasniqi has consistently shown his determination to support businesses, local products and consumer protection.
