The Ministry of Trade and Industry is continuously working in order for the products in the market to be qualitative and in harmony with European legislation.
Regarding the controlling of the products sold or traded in the Kosovo market, the Ministry of Trade and Industry received samples of toys months ago and sent them for analyses in the Netherlands.
After receiving the results, the Market Inspectorate has removed hazardous toys from the market and has disposed them.
We have also held regular meetings and have sent information to the municipal inspectorates that even in the remote villages, such inspection will be carried out, and if such toys are found, they will be removed from the market.
However, given that these toys have been in use for a long time in the Republic of Kosovo and can be found in our homes, the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) informs all citizens that these toys that are seen in the pictures attached are dangerous on the basis of the analyses we have done at the SGS laboratory in Holland and we require from the citizens their removal as soon as possible and their destruction.
