The Secretary General of the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), Burim Rreci, signed today a cooperation agreement with the Tourism Union of Kosovo (TUK).
This memorandum aims to increase cooperation between MTI and TUK in improving the situation in the tourism sector in the Republic of Kosovo.
The Parties of this Agreement agree that TUK will be involved in activities realised by MTI, such as drafting laws, policies and development strategies, promoting local and international cooperation, and promoting standards for professional capacity building in the Tourism Sector.
According to the agreement, the parties will encourage cooperation in the exchange of tourism data as well as good professional practices for advancing Kosovar tourism.
Representatives of MTI and TUK will meet periodically for reviewing activities in the field of tourism, as well for exchanging important information.
