The Ministry of Trade and Industry in accordance with Article 7 paragraph 3 of the Law No.04/L-047 on Safeguard Measures on Imports, and Articles 23, 23 bis and 24 of the CEFTA Agreement; and having established, as provided by Article 8 of the law on safeguards, that there are sufficient grounds to determine that the surge in imports, and the conditions under such imports are taking place, threaten to cause serious injury to domestic producers of similar products, initiates investigation on imported milk originating from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Description
In accordance with Article 1, and paragraph 1 of Article 2, of the Law No 041/L-047, and the relevant provisions of the CEFTA Agreement, the Ministry of Trade and Industry is entitled, on the basis of sufficient evidence, to apply the law to protect domestic dairy producers when threatened to suffer serious injury from milk imports originating in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Product under investigation
The investigation will cover imports of milk and cream not concentrated nor containing added sugar or other sweetening matter; as classified in the Combined Nomenclature under the following positions:
0401101000; 0401109000; 0401201100; 0401201900; 0401209900; and, 0401209100.
Investigation period4.
The investigation shall be carried out within ninety (90) days from the date of publication of this notice.
