The Inter-Ministerial Commission for Strategic Investments, chaired by the Minister of Trade and Industry, Vesel Krasniqi, held its next meeting where it reviewed and approved some requests of strategic investors.
The commission preceded with one more company for obtaining the status of strategic investment.
With 5 votes in favour and 2 against, the request of the company "Kosmote Foods" for investments in Kosovo was approved for further processing in the Office of the Prime Minister.
The decision was taken after the legal interpretation by the Legal Office of MTI, which concluded that the commission can continue the procedures.
Minister Krasniqi, in his capacity of chairman, stressed that four potential investors for strategic investments have been added, who meet the technical conditions required by the law on strategic investments.
The Minister stressed that the requests of potential investors will be reviewed next week, emphasizing that their investment figure amounts to 300 million euros.
Also, the Operational Group voted unanimously to review the request of the company "MOXIKO-LUMA KOSOVO LLC".
