With the motto “Let’s walk the paths of Dardania”, the Ministry of Trade and Industry has organized the World Tourism Day on Sunday, on which occasion the opening of the autumn-winter tourist season took place. This activity was held in Brod of Dragash where it was said that the strengthening of tourism will directly affect job creation.
The Minister of Trade and Industry, Vesel Krasniqi, said that together with his Albanian counterpart, Blendi Klosi, they are trying to promote the tourist places of Kosovo and Albania.
Minister Krasniqi has invited businesses to invest in the field of tourism in Kosovo and Albania.
"Seeing that tourism in our countries has a great potential to offer visitors, we, the two ministers have agreed to promote the countries together. We are working to create guides for visitors. The tourism sector is very important in our country and I am committed to increase the budget in the field of tourism through the department I lead. I invite businesses from our country and abroad to invest in the field of tourism in these two countries ", said Minister Krasniqi.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Tourism and Environment of Albania, Blendi Klosi, added that the administrative border should not be a problem for the promotion of tourist destinations between the two countries.
The Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albulena Balaj-Halimaj, also said that the Hoti government will give priority to tourism.
She assessed that the development of tourism brings economic profits and new jobs.
