Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, through the Market Inspectorate, in cooperation with the municipal market inspectors, today have inspected some economic operators in order to verify if there was manipulation and raising of equipment prices, which will be subsidized by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, respectively the Ministry of Economy.
The largest number of inspections were carried out in the Municipality of Pristina, Fushe Kosova, Gjakova, Mitrovica and some smaller municipalities such as Hani Elezit, Dragash, Kacanik, etc.
Market inspectors have managed to secure the current prices and have forced the economic operators to present the necessary documentation, in which case it will prove if there is an unjustified increase in the prices of equipment, especially heat pumps, inverters, boilers, stoves, etc.
Market inspectors have notified businesses to be inspected and measures will be taken in any case when it is found that there is an increase in unreasonable prices, especially now when the demand for the above-mentioned products increases, due to the call for subsidies from the Ministry of Economy/ Government of the Republic of Kosovo.
