The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, and Trade, Ms. Rozeta Hajdari, together with the Prime Minister of the country, Mr. Albin Kurti, paid a visit to the Vatican, where they were received by the high authorities of the Holy See.
The Minister and the Kosovo delegation had the opportunity to meet and exchange opinions with the Holy Father, Pope Francis, after the audience of Prime Minister Kurti.
The meetings with the Holy Father and then with the Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Paroli, were very cordial, for which Prime Minister Kurti and Minister Hajdari expressed their gratitude.
In both meetings, the Prime Minister emphasized that the Republic of Kosovo is determined for peace, dialogue and cooperation.
The Prime Minister had a long conversation with Pope Francis about the youth, the figure, the work and the legacy of Mother Teresa, about Letnica of Vitia where she received the call for devotion, as well as about religious coexistence in Kosovo. The Prime Minister also informed the Holy Father about the democratic and economic successes of the country, and about the Government’s achievements up to the present.
Prime Minister Kurti stated that politics is service, as he invited his Holiness, Pope Francis to visit Kosovo and wished him full recovery and health, after the recent surgical intervention.
They agreed that we should always stand by the people who need love and justice.
