The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, through the Kosovo Investment and Enterprise Support Agency (KIESA), together with the Municipality of Gllogoc, organized a Public Debate on Industrial Park 2 Drenas on 20 November 2023, based on the legislation on Economic Zones.
The citizens who attended the debate were initially informed by Mr. Petrit Gashi, Director of the Directorate of Urban Planning and Environmental Protection in the Municipality of Gllogoc, about the planned construction of physical infrastructure in the Industrial Park 2.
Whereas Mr. Nol Buzhala, Director of the Directorate of Private Sector Development in KIESA, informed the attendees on the construction procedures of Industrial Park 2, starting from a space of around 36 ha; the stages of the main project design; and consents taken from government institutions as provided for in the Law on Economic Zones.
The location of the Park was also discussed, which is close to the airport, the railway, and is easily accessible from the highway.
The Municipal officials announced that the construction of the Industrial Park 2 will also regulate the issue of sewage across the Korretica village.
Those interested about the allocation of parcels in the premises of the park were informed that they will be planned with the project, and that their allocation will be done according to the Administrative Instruction, with a competition.
The participants to the public debate were informed that the requests related to the Industrial Park 2 Drenas project during this period should be addressed to the Municipality of Gllogoc and KIESA.
