The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade is working on a new decision to regulate oil prices that will protect consumers and competition under the law. The new petroleum law provides for the Government to issue a sub-legal act for regulating petroleum prices and other protective measures. MIET has already prepared the draft and is intensively consulting with stakeholders, in order to submit it to the government for approval as soon as possible. Decision making is expected to happen soon. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade is continuing to monitor the market.
