The Inter-Ministerial Commission for Strategic Investments held its next meeting, where have reviewed the applications of some companies for obtaining the status of strategic investor.
The meeting chaired by the Minister of Trade and Industry, Vesel Krasniqi, was attended by representatives of ministries and municipalities, who gave their opinions on potential investors for strategic investments.
Minister Krasniqi has informed the members that three potential strategic investors have been presented for the "Grand Hotel" in Prishtina. The vote of the Operational Group to review the applications of these investors was postponed to next week.
The head of the operational group for the applicant entity "Unitas Energy AG" SH announced that this company has requested an additional deadline until the completion of documentation.
In this meeting was voted, with one remark, the operational group for the applicant entity “Moxico Luma Kosovo Mining” LLC.
Also, the Inter-Ministerial Commission for Strategic Investments decided on the formation of the Operational Group for the agricultural sector "KBI Ereniku", in Gjakova for the applicant entity "Abrazen" LLC, whose value reaches the figure of 16 million euros.
Also, the Inter-Ministerial Commission gave the green light to the formation of the Operational Group related to the energy sector in Vushtrri. Applicant entity "Cicavica Wind Farm 1 LLC" intends to invest in this municipality 1 million 620 thousand euros in the wind energy sector.
In this meeting was not voted the Operational Commission for the applicant entity "Nixone Energy Group" LLC, which intends to invest 62 million euros in the energy sector in the municipality of Suhareka.
Also, the formation of the Operational Group for the agricultural sector has been voted, for the entity "Frutex LLC", which aims to invest in the amount of 12 million euros.
The operational teams will analyse and review the applications of potential investors in a professional manner and then the inter-ministerial commission will forward them to the Prime Minister.
