The Minister of Trade and Industry, Endrit Shala, has signed a cooperation agreement with the Executive Director of Sunny Hill Festival, Dukagjin Lipa, so that this festival, international renome, will be held next year at the Fair Centre in Brnice, Prishtina.
Shala said that he has fulfilled the promise made months ago, while proving that promoting cultural tourism continues to be one of his priorities as a minister.
"It was a pleasure to sign a cooperation agreement with Mr. Lipa for the festival, which has returned Kosovo into a cultural tourism map. With the utmost dedication we have managed to create the right facilities for this festival to be organised in better facility.
The 'Sunny Hill Festival' will be organized at the Fair Centre in Brnica, Prishtina, which was built with great investment by the Government of Kosovo. We will always do our best for the youth of the country”, stressed Shala.
Shala said that this centre is one of the investments of our state, which has been used minimally so far, but this is changing now, especially with the arrival of the Sunny Hill Festival in this space, which will be maximally promoted and will become a destination for the largest public events in Kosovo.
“All investments of our country should be used by the citizens for the citizens and for the benefit of the country. We must be together for our state,”said Minister Shala.
Lipa said that from next year the biggest festival in Kosovo, which promotes our youth and our country in every continent, will be held at the Fair Centre in Bernice.
“We are very grateful to the ministry for the help providing to the festival. The festival receives no further assistance from the Government of Kosovo. We hope that soon we will do our best for the youth of Kosovo. With a special and rapid proactivity, Minister Shala has completed this work and commitment. We are looking forward to next year in Bernice, “said Lipa.
The Fair Center in Brnica is an investment of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, namely the Ministry of Trade and Industry and from now on the Sunny Hill Festival, in particular will adapt and invest the outside part of the centre.
