According to her, this draft law does not interfere with every product and does not constitute a permanent measure, but is activated only in exceptional situations, with the aim of protecting citizens and stabilizing the market.
She explained that the measures only apply to 14 basic products, which are essential for daily life, emphasizing that the main goal is to protect consumers, especially in times of crisis.
The Minister also emphasized that this is not about general price control or extensive intervention in the economy of the Republic of Kosovo.
Regarding the boarder issue, Kusari-Lila said that independence does not exclude responsibility, adding that a board that is completely independent and under full control cannot be simultaneously required, as these are contradictory positions.
She announced that during the drafting of the draft law, contributions from various stakeholders were included, with the aim of ensuring that the law is comprehensive, balanced and functional.
Finally, the minister emphasized that this draft law is a necessary mechanism for protecting citizens and guaranteeing market stability.
