Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry, Faton Thaci, received today in a meeting Suzana Dautaj, Project Coordinator for the “Debt Settlement and Closing a Business”, implemented by International Finance Corporation – IFC and financed by the Swiss Agency for Development (SCO).
The topic of discussion was the presentation of the project’s objectives and identification of activities for the future, also the conclusion and signing the agreement between the Ministry of Trade and Industry as the lead of this process and the IFC as an implementer and adviser of the project.
Mrs. Dautaj said the purpose of this project is to protect the companies from the bankruptcy process.
Further, Deputy Minister Thaçi said that we are ready to give a light to this process and promised that as far as MTI will be in charge this project will find its application, as this Ministry already have drafted the legal frame which will enforce the respective project.
"This project is of a national dimension as we consider that today it is patriotism to challenge professionally in preserving, building and developing the economic potentials that this country has," said Thaci.
