At the invitation of the Head of German Cooperation in Kosovo, Mr. Daniel Alker, the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Ms. Rozeta Hajdari, delivered an opening speech on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo at the opening of ‘Streetfest’ to celebrate the ongoing cooperation and true friendship between Kosovo and Germany.
On this occasion, Minister Hajdari emphasized that German development cooperation with Kosovo began immediately after the end of NATO’s military intervention in 1999, providing emergency assistance, particularly in water and electricity supply for our population.
She also stated that Germany is one of the largest bilateral donors in the area of development cooperation and continues with impactful programs and projects for sustainable development and Euro-Atlantic integration, remaining a strong partner for Kosovo in trade and increasing investments from German businesses and our diaspora.
Following this, Minister Hajdari, together with the Deputy Ambassador of Germany, Mr. Matthias Conrad and representatives of German and Kosovo institutions and organizations, visited teams from various German projects focused on education and technical and vocational training, private sector development, renewable energy and energy efficiency, sustainable urban development, and creating a peaceful and inclusive society.
