The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, and the Mayor of the Municipality of Podujeva, Shpejtim Bulliqi, have signed the cooperation agreement for the construction of the Industrial Park in the village of Livadicë, a strategic project that aims to create modern conditions for production, investment and employment in the Llapi region.
The Industrial Park in Podujeva, which began as a conceptual project two years ago, enters the implementation phase after the completion of preparations by the Municipality of Podujeva and the completion of the necessary procedures.
The project will be fully financed by the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, with an investment of 3,118,295.56 euros. The Municipality of Podujeva has secured the land and completed the feasibility study, creating the conditions for the development of the park on an area of 29 hectares, for which great interest has already been expressed by businesses.
According to Minister Kusari-Lila, this investment will contribute to strengthening local production, creating new jobs and the economic development of Kosovo.
The Industrial Park will be built according to the principles of green transition, in line with European Union standards and with a focus on environmental protection. This is expected to create more favorable conditions for businesses to develop and easier access to European funds.
The Industrial Park in Podujeva is part of MIETIS’s vision to build a modern network of industrial parks throughout Kosovo, with the aim of boosting production, increasing exports and sustainable economic development. The Minister emphasizes that, through cooperation with municipalities, projects are being implemented that aim to attract new investments, create jobs and increase the well-being of citizens.
