THE CENTRAL MARKET SURVEILLANCE INSPECTORATE SEIZES 13,661.00 LITERS OF NON-QUALITY DIESEL PRODUCT

The Central Market Surveillance Inspectorate (CMSI), under the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, seized 13,661.00 liters (thirteen thousand six hundred and sixty-one liters) of non-quality diesel product during inspections in the internal market of the Republic of Kosovo. These liters of diesel were found in the domestic market without meeting specific quality values/standards.

Based on the test reports of the samples taken, it has been found that the diesel product does not meet the specified values outlined in Administrative Instruction No. 01/2017 on the Quality of Petroleum Liquid Fuels.

The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, respectively CMSI, ansures consumers and responsible businesses that products that do not meet legal requirements will not be allowed to circulate in the internal market of the Republic of Kosovo. This is done in the interest of consumer protection, ensuring the availability of quality products in the market, and safeguarding fair market competition.
