The Market Inspectorate has initiated legal proceedings against three economic operators in Ferizaj for deceiving customers regarding the weight of certain essential products.
Following inspection activities at the economic operators, the Central Inspectorate of Market Surveillance from MIET conducted inspections at three economic operators in Ferizaj to verify the weight of certain essential products.
During these inspections and sample takings, the Market Inspectors, in cooperation with Metrology officials, discovered that some flour and sugar products do not match the weight declared on the packaging.
Consequently, legal proceedings have been initiated against the economic entities in accordance with the current law, and they have been instructed to take the necessary actions to rectify these irregularities.
The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade is actively conducting on-site operations to monitor the market and combat informality, ensuring adherence to legal standards in the trading of goods within the Kosovo market.
