The Market Inspectorate, within the Ministry of Industry, Enterprise and Trade, in cooperation with the Kosovo Police (Directorate for the Investigation of Human Trafficking) and the inspectors of the Tax Administration of Kosovo have carried out joint inspections in 17 locations in Pristina, where massage centers were targeted, in order to verify the legality of their activity.
As a result of these inspections, the Market Inspectorate has made the temporary closure of 9 premises where the activity of massages was practiced.
Economic operators, who, contrary to the law, exercise their activity, will be pronounced punitive measures according to the law in force.
The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade remains committed to the full implementation of the law in defence of the public interest.
