This meeting emphasized the importance of cooperation between the central and local institutions in order to assist in the economic development of the city of Kamenica.
We have already drafted and approved the entire legal framework as a new reform for determining the economic, technological, legal, environmental, and administrative reasonableness of the feasibility study for the establishment of industrial and technological parks, their form, administration and management in our country.
With the new reform for Industrial and Technological Parks and ongoing capital investments, the Ministry of Industry, Enterprise and Trade is building and putting into operation the economic zones, certified many years ago, as well as establishing industrial and technological new parks, and business incubators in different profiles serving the needs of the industry.
Mayor Rrahimaj presented the plans and progress achieved towards the development of a Business Incubator in the municipality of Kamenica. He welcomed the discussion with Minister Hajdari, regarding the reform and progress achieved by MIET, in the establishment and development of industrial and technological parks, in many municipalities in Kosovo, aiming at:
– Encouraging investments;
– Promotion of advanced technologies, production and processing activities, innovation and value-added services;
– Increasing employment and training;
– Facilitating cooperation between businesses; as well as
– Increasing competition and exports.
We are fully engaged to unfold the potential of many important areas in the country, through the strategic approach of investment, management and administration, in order to increase the proper performance of all industrial and technological parks in the service of local businesses and investors, from the diaspora and foreigners, in the Republic of Kosovo.
