Officials of the Metrology Agency, supported by the Market Inspectorate, have continued with metrological supervision in the region of Prishtina, namely in Prishtina, Fushe Kosova and Obiliq, where they have supervised the weight of bread and goods declaration.
During the supervision, they found legal violations in 5 entities (bakeries), noting inconsistencies between the bread weight and the declaration.
In four bakeries there was a lack of declaration, which implies that these entities did not declare the weight of the bread they sell in their shelves, while in another entity they found inconsistency between the bread weight and the declaration submitted by the entity.
In this case, 5 punitive measures were imposed against the entities where the officials found violations related to non-declaration of goods and non-conformity in terms of the bread weight.
The Ministry of Trade and Industry, namely the Metrology Agency, will continue the metrological supervision in the coming days throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo in order to supervise the existing situation on the ground.
