Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Isa Mustafa, participated in the following meeting of the National Council for Economic Development.
In front of the members of the Council, Prime Minister Mustafa said that despite the agenda quite political intense, Government has paid special focus on economic development, employment and the intensification of efforts to assist businesses to start slowly resolving economic issues for which is committed.
"It is being worked on intensively in the National Plan for Development, where the Government, with the assistance of all relevant actors, will clear the path, strategy, measures for faster economic development, defining more clearly the priorities on which we will be engaged in the coming period. At the same time, we are working in some strategic sector, with regard to improving the legislation, and improving policies, which allow attracting foreign investment, will encourage inward investment, promote employment and sustainable economic growth ", stressed Prime Minister Mustafa.
Prime Minister Isa Mustafa also talked about the fiscal package, the Law on Investment Strategy, the Law on Credit Guarantee alternatives of power supply, the possibilities of advancing the project of construction of Kosova e Re and other alternatives, the agreements with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Investment Bank for their involvement in new projects, Brezovica project, the issue of enforcement of contracts, greater involvement of civil society in economic policy-making and support most of the media which play a major role in economic development processes.
