The Representatives of Kosovo’s Poultry Association informed minister Bajrami for their worries they have in regard to eggs import from countries of the region, in particularly from Albania.
Association’s Representatives said that imported eggs from Albania are dumped and of low quality, and as such they are damaging a lot domestic production and public health. Representatives of this association has asked from the Minister of Trade and Industry to urgently consider their concern raised in this meeting.
Minister Bajrami expressed readiness for further cooperation between MTI and Kosovo Poultry Association, on what she vowed that the Trade Department that operates under the MTI will immediately see the possibility of applying the Law on Protection Measures and the Law on Anti-Dumping Measures, in a way to protect the country’s producers. the same time, the minister pledged to contact FVA in order to take immediate measures for protecting public health.
