The Minister of Trade and Industry, Ismet Mulaj, today have hosted economy senior officers of the U.S. Embassy in Pristina, Todd Christiansen, Senior Economic Officer and Ardiana Meholl, Economic and Commercial Advisor in U.S. Embassy in Pristina.
At the meeting they discussed the actual development of commerce and industry and for intensification of the economic cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and United States of America.
Minister Mulaj, informed U.S. Embassy Officers for the country economic processes, ongoing projects taken by the Ministry of Trade and Industry and for the trade relation between two states, especially the need for increasing Kosovo exports in U.S.A.
From their side, U.S Embassy Senior Economic representatives congratulated minister Mulaj for the new position and same time expressed their readiness to continue cooperation with MTI for economic development growth in our country.
Mr. Christensen have promised minister Mulaj that the U.S. Government will continue to help Kosovo in pushing forward major processes affecting economic development, support projects, and push the growth of American business investments in Kosovo.
