The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Rozeta Hajdari, received the representatives of 13 businesses from Taiwan who are staying in our country.
This delegation includes officials from the representative office of Taiwan's capital Taipei, in Hungary, the Institute for Information Industry and business representatives from the telecommunications, technology, battery industry, cyber security, health, etc. sectors.
The meeting took place in a very positive spirit and with high interest in the opportunities that our country offers to foreign investors.
Minister Hajdari informed them about the good environment for doing business and the advantages for foreign investments in our country, including the potential of our talented young people, the rule of law and transparency, legislation in harmony with EU directives, highlighting investor protection and follow-up.
The meeting was concluded with the consensus to sign a bilateral agreement on investments and closer cooperation in the field of trade in priority sectors of common interest.
The delegation from Taiwan offered the invitation for our country's participation in the "Smart City Summit & Expo 2024" and in the "Food Taipei" and "FoodTech Taipei" fairs that will be organized during the next year.
