The Central Inspectorate of Market Supervision (CIMS) continued its market inspection campaign today, with a special focus on dairy products and the implementation of consumer protection measures.
Through 8 teams of inspectors, CIMS carried out inspections in large markets in the regions of Mitrovica, Prizren, Peja, Prishtina, Lipjan and Shtime.
During the inspections, 7 non-compliant products were identified, as specified in the official reports of the Food and Veterinary Agency (FVA), which were found on the shelves of the inspected economic operators:
Holla Barista 3.8%, 1 liter;
Bylmeti Pie Cream;
Holla Cooking Cream, 1 liter;
My Cow Milk 3.2%, 1 liter;
Drena Traditional Dough;
Milket Traditional Dough;
Bianco Pie Cream, 700 g.
Based on the official reports of the FVA, no. 4942, dated 27.07.2026, and no. 5203, dated 10.08.2026, 5,278 units of the above-mentioned products have been withdrawn from the market today.
Also, the centers of economic operators that have market networks throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo have been ordered to remove from sale the products identified in the FVA reports.
CIMS will continue to monitor and inspect the market, while all dairy products for which non-compliance has been identified will remain part of the list of products for withdrawal from the market. The list will be published and updated daily for consumer information, until the official reports are updated, supplemented or amended by the FVA.
The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation (MIETI), through the Department for Consumer Protection, remains open to any complaints or reports from citizens who encounter products banned for sale by the FVA on the market.

MIETI and responsible institutions will continue with the necessary inspections and measures, in order to guarantee consumer safety and respect for trading rules in the Republic of Kosovo.
