Minister Kusari-Lila discussed investments and economic cooperation with German representatives

The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Innovation (MIETI), Mimoza Kusari-Lila, met with Klaus Nachtigall, a security expert with 37 years of experience in Germany and Kosovo, and Fitim Gashi from BEAM Construction GmbH, a company based in Mönchengladbach, Germany.

The meeting focused on opportunities for cooperation between Kosovar and German companies, with a particular emphasis on investments in Kosovo.

Kusari-Lila stated that the discussion covered opportunities in the renewable energy sector, the development of industrial parks, and modern supporting infrastructure.

According to her, Kosovo is open to investment and possesses human capital, a young workforce, and potential for economic development.

The meeting also addressed the digitalization of industry through eco-technological parks, as well as digital data security and protection, areas in which Kosovo’s institutions are actively working.

Minister Kusari-Lila emphasized that MIETI’s agenda aims to develop an economy where technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship create new opportunities and jobs.

She also highlighted the importance of cooperation with German partners, particularly members of the Kosovar diaspora, in bringing experience, knowledge, and new capital to Kosovo.
