Minister Kusari-Lila visited the “Bottem” coffee factory in Peja

The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, visited the “Bottem” coffee company in Brestovik, Peja, where she was welcomed by its owner, Aron Berani.

During the visit, Minister Kusari-Lila praised the continuous development and growth of this local business, which operates in the Turkish coffee and espresso production sector and has already managed to expand its products to the markets of Kosovo, Albania and North Macedonia.

The factory, which began operations a year ago and is now entering its second year of operation, currently employs 15 workers, including women and members of minority communities, reflecting a commitment to inclusiveness and equal employment opportunities. Minister Kusari-Lila emphasized that the development of such local businesses is important for strengthening the economy and increasing local production, appreciating the investment made in quality and production standards.

The owner of the company, Aron Berani, presented the factory’s capacities and the laboratory for testing the quality of coffee, which serves to guarantee the standard and quality for consumers.

The Minister announced that she had met with the owner of the company earlier at MIETI, where she was offered institutional support for the further development of the business.

She emphasized that cooperation between institutions and the private sector remains an important element for strengthening the country’s economy and creating better conditions for manufacturing businesses in Kosovo.
