The Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, visited the InstaBuild company, where she was closely acquainted with the development and production capacities of one of the largest companies in the wood construction industry in Kosovo.
During the visit, Minister Kusari-Lila was informed about the journey of the company, which was founded in 1999 by the brothers Mentor and Besnik Pllana from Mitrovica, immediately after the end of the war in Kosovo. From a small workshop for the production of windows, InstaBuild has become one of the largest manufacturers of wooden houses and buildings in the region and beyond, expanding its activity in the European markets and the United States of America.
The Minister praised the development of the company and its projects, among which the construction of a block of 20 apartments in Germany, designed according to the highest European standards for energy efficiency, stands out. These buildings are characterized by lower energy consumption and represent a contemporary model of sustainable and efficient construction.
During the visit, the company’s production capacities were also presented, which operates in its own industrial park, one of the largest in Kosovo, with an area of about 140 thousand square meters along the Prishtina-Mitrovicë highway. This complex develops local production with modern European technology, while the company has invested in advanced equipment, as well as established an Innovation Hub and an Innovation Centre, with the aim of developing new products and increasing the competitiveness of the construction industry.
Currently, InstaBuild employs around 350 people. In addition to the technical staff, women engaged as architects, as well as in the fields of marketing and administration, play an important role in the development of the company, proving that professionalism, innovation and equal opportunities are an important part of the company’s development.
